

About Us
The dairy farm was established by
Attillio and Mary Bisognin in 1966.
Son Glen now looks after the family farm with
partner Kaye Courtney.
The Cheese making began as a hobby for Kaye and has now flourished into a thriving business with Tone Petersen as head cheesemaker, Gold Medals and all.
Bassine Specialty Cheeses is a small cheese making factory built to exacting specifications on our 235ac farm.
The milk is produced by our small mixed-breed herd and milked twice a day, year-round.
Our second HTST pasteuriser has enabled us to bottle our own milk under the brand name of 'Bass River Dairies'. The inline separator enables us to produce Low Fat milk and pure Cream.
Licca Lucca Gelato is made from our milk here in our factory and available from our farm shop.
All our products are Non-Homogenised.
