The farm was established by
Attillio and Mary Bisognin in 1966.
Son Glen now looks after the family dairy farm with partner Kaye Courtney, and grandson Luke milking a herd of 180 Holstein Cows.
HAND MADE FROM OUR OWN FAM MILK
Our Cheese shop opened in June 2014, cheese production has now been extended to three days a week.
Bassine produces a range of soft cheeses, including feta, brie, camembert, washed rind, coulommiers, halloumi, ricotta, quark, fruit cheese and marinated feta
PASTEURISED NON HOMOGENISED PURE MILK
We sell our own farm milk and cream under the label Bass River Dairy. Our milk is also available through local supermarkets and general stores around Phillip Island and along the Bass Coast.
VISIT US AT OUR CAFE ON THE FARM
We are open 7 days a week and would love you to visit our farm cafe. You can sample our lovely cheeses, have one of the best milkshakes around, or spoil yourself with our freshly baked scones with farm cream, whilst sipping on a coffee or tea.
